The Farm

About Mayani Farms

We’re a small eco-organic farm in Utuado, Puerto Rico, rooted in 15 years of working the land by hand, not by algorithm or using chemicals of any kind.

In 2008, we took a leap of faith—leaving behind corporate burnout and a mountain of screens to build something real. We found 15 wild, hilly acres overrun with 8,000 coffee trees and slowly transformed it into a living, breathing farm. Every plant we’ve nurtured, every animal we’ve raised, and every system we’ve designed has come from listening—really listening—to what this land has to say to us.

Today, we grow rare tropical fruit trees, bamboo, and non-fruit species to order, using organic practices and the Farmers’ Almanac® moon-phase calendar—something farmers have done in every culture for thousands of years. Our seedlings are never shipped in. They’re born and raised right here in the soil they’re meant to thrive in.

We also offer consulting for people ready to live differently. Whether you’ve just bought property or you’re rethinking how to use what you’ve got, we’ll help you build systems that actually work here: fruit trees, goats, compost, rain catchment—you name it.

Our approach isn’t trendy or theoretical. It’s practical. It’s personal. And it’s rooted in everything we’ve lived.
