What Makes Us Different
You won’t get cookie-cutter advice from us. We’ve lived on this land for 15+ years and built everything from the ground up—fruit trees, goats, bamboo groves, hurricane-prep systems, and all. We know what works here—and what doesn’t.
🍃Helping You Live Well on Puerto Rico's Land
Whether you’ve just bought a farm or are trying to turn a backyard into a food source, we offer sustainability consulting grounded in real experience. We’ve spent more than 15 years transforming our own land in the mountains, and now we help others do the same—growing food, raising animals, managing erosion, and working with the land, not against it.
How We Help You
- Food Forest Planning – We help you choose and place the right mix of fruit trees, nitrogen fixers, and support species for yield, erosion control, and resilience.
- Bamboo Strategy – Clumping bamboo can give you privacy, control erosion, define edges, and one day become building material
- Reading the Land – We assess slope, drainage, and soil type so you avoid costly planting mistakes.
- Animal Integration – Chickens, goats, ducks-we guide you in using them for fertility, pest control, and food production.
- Soil Building & Compost – We show you how to turn manure, weeds, and waste into fertility, even without buying a thing.

“When my father and I bought our property, we had dreams of creating a very unique experience but we had no idea how to achieve this. I hired Paul and Sarah and they have been amazing. We're doing a multiphase approach because the property is so large. These two really know what they're doing.”

“I gave Paul and Sarah a challenge: smaller backyard that opens out into the ocean. There’s the pool area where my wife and I didn’t want leaves falling into that we’d have to constantly be fishing out. We also didn’t want anything potentially poisonous outside because our dogs roam freely. Paul gave us some great ideas that we’re implementing. We liked the designs and the accompanying writing to help put the drawings into perspective.”
