Best Growing Conditions:

• Prefers deep, rich soil and protection from wind. Benefits from some afternoon
  shade during establishment.

Characteristics:

• Produces red, hairy-skinned fruits with sweet, juicy translucent flesh—similar to
  lychee.
• Time to First Harvest: 4–6 years from seed.
• Mature Height: Can grow up to 40–60 feet.

Base Factors to Consider:

• Highly prized tropical fruit; excellent market value.
• Needs good drainage and mulch to retain moisture.
• Grows well in sheltered valleys or areas with consistent rain.

Price for a 1-foot, ready-to-transplant seedling. Please note: this a dioecious plant and therefore must be grafted, hence the higher price.
