At Mayani Farms, we follow the lunar cycle to guide when we plant, transplant, harvest, and rest the soil. Each month, we release a new Best Days Planting Calendar to support:

Transplanting success
Ideal timing for root crops, vianda, and above-ground vegetables
Harvesting at peak potency
Seedbed preparation
Weed management and soil recovery

We use this calendar to guide the planting all of our tropical fruit trees, including cacao, jackfruit, grumichama, achachairu, and lucuma—as well as bamboo, flowering ornamentals, and medicinal plants. Many of these same varieties are available as ready-to-transplant seedlings, grown naturally right here at Mayani Farms.
